So, finally it would appear Google have taken action against link spam and banned Go Compare - the spammiest of link spammers. Go Compare appear to, not only have been kicked out for car insurance, but don’t even rank for their name.
It appears however, if you scroll through the serps, they are 51st for most terms - e.g. car insurance. Could this simply be a plus 50 penalty?
Anyone want to place bets on when they will return?

Not too long I’d imagine, although I’ll be interested if they come back in at number #1 or not. And shouldn’t Neutralize be on your list of SEO Agencies?

Hi Mark - thanks for your comment - and congratulations on being the first ;P
You are a brave man…Do you really want me critiquing your methods? :S I will add Neutralize to my list of agencies if you have clients who rank in the top 10 in Google for my 4 key terms: Car Insurance, Cheap flights, Mortgage and Digital camera.
Looking at your published client list, perhaps only Just the Flight fit this category - although sit outside the top 10 for ‘cheap flights’. Perhaps you are working with another big brand of note? Rumour has it perhaps a big Cardiff based comparison engine…?
