Greenlight, based in London, are a fairly large search marketing agency offering Paid and Organic Search. Greenlight have many high profile clients in the Google Search Results including:

Greenlight have traditionaly performed well in the natural results, due in the main, to the use of a large network (believed to be in its hundreds possibly thousands of domains and subdomains) of its own sites which it brings to the market termed ‘Link Catalyst’. Being ‘plugged into’ this network means you gain advertorial style text links from a variety of sites. Greenlight are very guarded about thier set of sites, for fear of penalisation, however simple backlink checks on a range of thier clients reveal simple correlations between links.
Greenlight’s AsdaFinance where penalised in Google around January 2007 at which point Greenlight used the cooperative advertising network and other forms of high link volume advertising. It is believed, although tricky to prove, that Greenlight no longer engage in this tactic.
